Since the beginning in 2012 with the first basics ideas, we at msc resources have developed and optimized a ground-breaking technology that specifically addresses the challenges of sand production in the oil and gas industry, especially in Brownfields with the need of fast remedial solutions.
Our outcome is based on the proven standard wire-wrapped sand screen, but without the conventional base pipe, which offers a completely new perspective on efficiency and due to the treatment with Boron a longevity.
Most Optimized design
To increase the hardness of our Sand Screens and counteract the problems of sand erosion in critical boreholes, we use a special process called boriding. In this state-of-the-art process, our Sand Screens are treated with boron in an furnace, which significantly increases both its resistance and longevity.
Our Sand Screen consists two stainless steel V-Wires of which an outside wrapping wire is welded around an inner supporting wire-rod without a traditional base pipe. It’s combining state-of-the-art technology with proven principles. This type of Sand Screen has already successfully proven itself on numerous oil and gas application worldwide. Our products offer multiple installation options, including remedial through-tubing installation using slickline, and are suitable for all sizes of different productions and injections.
