Since the beginning of 2012 with the first basics developed, we at MSC Resources have developed further a ground-breaking technology that specifically addresses the challenges of sand production in the oil and gas industry. Our solution is based on the proven standard wire-wrapped sand screens, but without the traditional base pipe, which offers a completely new perspective on efficiency and longevity.
Improved design
To increase the hardness of our sand screens and counteract the problems of sand erosion in critical boreholes, we use a special process called boriding. In this state-of-the-art process, our screens are treated with boron in an oven, which significantly increases both their resistance and their service life.
Our sand filter consists of a standard stainless steel wire mesh without a base pipe, combining state-of-the-art technology with proven principles. This type of filter has already proven itself on numerous oil and gas sites worldwide. Our products offer multiple installation options, including through-pipe installation using slickline, and are suitable for all sizes of production pipework.
